Perfume and celebrities

More celebs take liberty in stepping into the fashion world. It's mostly common in the perfumery area, that was accounted for being a very professional area that the average person can't even understand its complexity. So how come celebrities, that are usually pretty fashionable, but have no real education in perfumery come up with such good perfumes.

Sean combs (p diddy) made a perfume, so did Paris Hilton and they both got excellent perfume reviews. Did they go and educate themselves beforehand? Did they become professional perfumers? I would hardly say so. I am just estimating how it should go, but I can tell you for certain that being a perfumer is not something you become an expert of in a matter of 1 night. It takes studying and practice and there are mistakes on the way – the whole process is extremely time consuming.

I assume that when a celeb is sponsoring a line of perfumes, or even makes his own company, he has an expert standing beside him, guiding him and advising. It could be even that he gives up a general description and after a while a professional perfumer comes back to him with a few samples he needs to pick from.

The quality of the new celeb perfumes is truly a top notch quality. It's either that these guys are using someone to help them, guide them and do all the technical work for them, or they are simply sponsoring a scent they found pleasant.
